SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR
PROGRAM PURPOSE:
To enhance technology usage within and among member districts (Mountain BOCES Strategic Priorities).
PROGRAM GOALS:
To update and improve the Mountain BOCES special education technology infrastructure. To provide inservices to BOCES and all ten member districts’ special education staff on the computerized IEP process. To provide technical support for all BOCES staff. To improve communication among BOCES and district personnel. To develop a data management plan to improve the accuracy and quality of information gathered by the BOCES.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess knowledge necessary for planning, implementation, and evaluation of all technological tools and programs related to the functioning of the Mountain BOCES.
DISTRICTS INVOLVED:
All ten districts within the Mountain BOCES.
FUNDING SOURCES:
Funding is provided by Federal IDEA funds.
STAFF INVOLVED:
One licensed staff member.
